Project Overview

Chitubula Investments Limited, a Zambian-owned mining company (75% citizen ownership),
in joint venture (JV) partnership with Golden Avenue Investment Zambia Ltd., proposes to
develop an open-cast mining project in Luano District, Central Province. The project will be
implemented under Large-Scale Mining License No. 38897-HQ-LEL, which was initially
granted as a prospecting license on 14th November 2024 to Chitubula Investments Ltd.
The project area covers approximately 4,805 hectares in the Luano Valley area and is
situated about 4 km from the Luano District administrative center (Luano Boma) and an
estimated 98 km from Old Mkushi town.
