China-Zambia De Jin Xin Cement Limited (CZDJC)is currently developing a cement manufacturing plant in in Lusaka west, Chilanga district. With a mission to contribute to infrastructure development and economic growth, the company aims to meet the rising demand for high-quality cement in both domestic and regional markets. The establishment of the cement plant comes at a time when the country is experiencing a persistent power deficit due to frequent load shedding and unreliable electricity supply. These challenges significantly impact industrial operations, resulting in production inefficiencies and increased costs.
