PROPOSED 15 MW COAL FIRED POWER PLANT AT FARM NUMBER SUB J OF FARM 739, OFF MUNGWI ROAD, LUSAKA WEST CHILANGA DISTRICT BY CHINA-ZAMBIA DE JIN XI

China-Zambia De Jin Xin Cement Limited (CZDJC)is currently developing a cement manufacturing plant in in Lusaka west, Chilanga district. With a mission to contribute to infrastructure development and economic growth, the company aims to meet the rising demand for high-quality cement in both domestic and regional markets. The establishment of the cement plant comes at a time when the country is experiencing a persistent power deficit due to frequent load shedding and unreliable electricity supply. These challenges significantly impact industrial operations, resulting in production inefficiencies and increased costs. To address this critical issue, China-Zambia De Jin Xin Cement Limited proposes the construction of a 15 MW coal-fired power plant as a captive energy source for the cement plant at Farm number Sub-J of Farm 739, off Mungwi Road, Lusaka West
