Border Way Limited plans the construction and operation of the Solwezi to Kipushi Road in
Northwestern Province under a Public Private Partnership. The proposed development comes with a
Toll Gate and Weigh Bridge at a location to be agreed with the local authority of Mushindamo district.
Borderway intends to invest about US$500 million. The Solwezi to Kipushi project is promoted by the
South West China Business Association who holds xx% shares under Borderway Limited, xx% shares
held by the Zambian Government, x% shares are held by xxx Limited.

The objective of the project is the efficient and economical transportation of cargo’ from the
SADC region into the Katanga Copper Rich region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
Borderway Limited commissioned BCHOD Consulting Engineers to Conduct an Environmental and Social
Impact Assessment for its proposed road development project and draw its Environmental Management
Plans.
