- Job Purpose
Under the supervision of the Manager-Human Resources and Administration, to supervise, co-ordinate and undertake all organizational support activities to uphold employee welfare and ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
Main Duties and Accountabilities (Without Limitation)
- Supervises and co-ordinates the activities of personnel in Security and Office Administration sections by ensuring that policies, rules and regulations as well as set standards are adhered to.
- Ensures that employee welfare is taken care of by provision of such needs as are necessary at all times.
- Ensures that Agency buildings and equipment are well maintained through efficient and effective supervision of subordinates and that repairs are done and bills of quantities etc. are prepared for approval by superiors; supervises building projects to ensure satisfactory work standards.
- Co-ordinates various administrative activities between sections and departments to ensure provision of satisfactory service.
- Raises/prepares relevant work-related reports for superior’s attention/prior to circulation to other staff.
- Liaises with appointed security agency on the provision of quality and efficient security services to ZEMA
- Coordinates transport activities to ensure adequate provision of transport to convey officers to various work stations, etc.
- Co-ordinate’s activities of the Department and attends to various requests from other departments.
- Ensures timely service delivery to all departments by subordinates.
- Works within given/set guidelines, established practices, rules and regulations and ensures provision of adequate and quality services.
- Is responsible for the implementation of Agency policies which include the safety and health regulations. Ensures the existence of cleanliness at the ZEMA premises.
- Perform Human Resources Functions when required.
- Performs various other duties, as and when required.
a. Job Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Grade twelve (12) Certificate
- Degree in Public Administration/Human Resources or equivalent
- Computer literate with a valid driver’s license
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in similar position. Experience in Fleet Management and Buildings Maintenance is highly desirable
- Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resources Management with a valid Practicing certificate.
- High Computer Proficiency.
