Project Background
The growing demand for land in Lusaka due to both local and foreign investments has seen a lot
of projects targeted at providing predominantly housing to the greater population of the city. A
corresponding demand for decent housing is undoubtedly critical as more and more people flock
to the city to look for employment. Currently the national housing deficit stands at 2.8 million
units and is projected to double by 2025 leaving room for development in the sector. This deficit
is growing and solutions to meet this demand need to address not only the provision of affordable,
good quality housing units but auxiliary services as well.

It is from this background that Afritec Asset Management Company Limited intends to develop
the 65.49 hectares titled piece of land located on sub 12 and 31 of farm 28A in State Lodge Area,
Chongwe District, Lusaka Province, Zambia into an Upmarket Estate to provide affordable and
good quality housing units. Afritec Asset Management Company Limited is a company based in
Lusaka, Zambia that specializes in project management and land development.
