Executive Summary

Project Background

Builders Mining Corporation Limited (Herein called ‘Builders’) acquired mining license No. 21806-HQ-LEL in January, 2022 and wishes to commence Tantalum and Tin mining activities within the mine license area. The Mine license area No. 21806-HQ-LEL is located in Zimba District of Chief Mwemba and Simwatachela’s chiefdom.

After obtaining an exploration License from the Ministry of Mines and Mineral Development, Builders Mining Corporation has carried out feasibility studies to determine the economic viability of extracting Tantalum and Tin. As part of the process of obtaining relevant clearances, Builders intends to determine the environmental and social impacts that would arise from the development.

Project Location

The 21806-HQ-LEL Plot covers an area of about 16769.6401 Ha and is located about 70Km from the Choma – Kalomo road and is accessed via a dirty road, passing through Kabanga village.
Since it was acquired in January, 2022, exploratory activities have been undertaken within the license area. Builders Mining Corporation now wishes to commence full scale Tantalum and Tin mining activities within the mine license area.
