Project Background
Value Share Investments Limited (“Value Share”) proposes to construct three nineteen-storey blocks
of apartments and one three-storey office block, at an area of 6.2 hectares on Stand No. 38, off Kasiya
Crescent, in the Kalundu area of Lusaka. The apartments are also planned to have a gym, water and
sanitation facilities, parking space, access roads, walkways, swimming pool, and a canteen.
Each floor of the one apartment will have 6-8 apartments, giving a total of 150 apartments for the three
blocks.
The parking area will be designed to accommodate 350 vehicles.
This report outlines the significant environmental and social risks and impacts associated with the
proposed project. The report further provides mitigation measures supported by and environmental and
social management plan.
