The company was established on November 21, 2022, and is specialized in the mining, mining and processing of various mineral ores. The company is owned and directed by local and international business associates whose sole aim is adding value to the Zambia’s mineral resources i.e., base, precious, gemstones and rare earth metals.
On December 25, 2024, Metacorp Exploration & Mining Investments Limited acquired a LargeScale Mining Licence Number 38808-HQ-LML to mine Coper, Cobalt, Gold, Iron Ore and Silver in Chooba Village of Mumbwa District in Central Province of Zambia. The mining licence area size measures about 1927.0753Ha in extent. The Licence is valid for 25 years starting December 26, 2024, and ending December 25, 2049. Metacorp Exploration & Mining Investments Limited now intends to develop a mine to extract gold from the same area using conventional open-pit mining method.
