Haoqing Enterprises Limited is a private company limited by shares and was incorporated on 26th day of April 2024 and intends to establish a Copper processing plant in Luanshya along Luanshya – Mpongwe road T5. The proposed project is the first business to be undertaken by the Company. The proposed project will consist of both a leach plant and a concentrator where Copper concentrate and Copper cathodes will be produced, this is in view of the most common types of copper ore in Zambia which are Copper Oxide and Copper Sulfide. The two types of copper ore undergo two different kinds of processes, Copper Oxide undergoing leaching producing 99.99% pure copper and Copper Sulfide ore undergoing Froth Floatation producing concentrate with copper content ranging from 20-45%. The difference in purification process is simply because of the difference in the chemical composition of the copper ore.
