The Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA) wishes to inform stakeholders, partners and the general public that the Agency is currently reviewing the Environmental Management (Licensing) Regulations S.I No.112 of 2013 (“Licensing Regulations”) and the Environmental Management (Extended Producer Responsibility), Regulations, SI No. 65 of 2018 (“EPR Regulations”)

This notice therefore serves to invite members of the general public, interested and affected stakeholders to submit comments on the current Licensing and EPR Regulations to ZEMA from 30^th March, 2025 to 30^th April, 2025. The Regulations can be accessed at the following places:

1. ZEMA Information Documentation Centre in Lusaka;
2. ZEMA Regional Offices located in Livingstone, Ndola, Solwezi, Mansa, Mkushi and Chipata;
3. ZEMA website: www.zema.org.zm

All comments can be submitted to the undersigned through any of the ZEMA offices listed above during weekdays from 09:00 hours to 16:00 hours. Comments can also be emailed to info@zema.org.zm or through   https:/www.zema.org.zm/regulations-feedback/
