Ozone Depleting Substances Licence
The Ozone Depleting Substances Licence is a document issued by ZEMA that allow a person to import, export, produce or distribute controlled substances or ozone depleting substances or technology or product which uses or contains a controlled or ozone depleting substance, or allow a person to service fire extinguishers, refrigerators, air conditioners, mobile phones or other technology that uses controlled or ozone depleting substances.

1. Click on the [Apply for Service] button.
2. Complete all sections of the application form; go through the process by clicking the “Next” button.
3. Once the application form is complete, preview and digitally sign it using the PIN code given to you when you registered your ZamPass account.
4. Pay the Invoice online, by selecting your preferred method of payment, receive the Payment Receipt and Action Notice with further instructions.
5. If self-service, receive your certificate instantly; if operator-assisted, you will receive a notification when the review is finished or when you can visit the office to pick up the document.
Note: If your application is denied, you will receive an Action Notice explaining the grounds of denial and the procedure for appeal.

Class V (0.001<) – 1500 ZMW
for Distribution:
Class I (more than 200 Tonnes/annum) – 9000 ZMW
Class II (between 100 and 199 Tonnes/annum) – 4500 ZMW
Class III (between 1 and 99 Tonnes/annum) – 3000 ZMW
Class IV (between 0.1 and 1 Tonnes/annum) – 1500 ZMW
Class V (less than 0.1 Tonnes/annum) – 300 ZMW
for Storage:
Class I (more than 200 Tonnes/annum) – 15000 ZMW
Class II (between 100 and 199 Tonnes/annum) – 12000 ZMW
Class III (between 1 and 99 Tonnes/annum) – 6000 ZMW
Class IV (between 0.1 and 1 Tonnes/annum) – 3000 ZMW
Class V (less than 0.1 Tonnes/annum) – 300 ZMW
