The EEASA Conference is aimed at facilitating environmental and sustainable development education within Southern Africa. An appropriate theme is selected for each conference. It provides a forum for EE practitioners and learners to share their experiences for developing EE practices.

EARLY REGISTSRATION (Ends on 31st August, 2024) Includes EEASA Membership, all meals, conference materials, gala dinner and cultural night, airport transfers and networking events (USD 300)
LATE REGISTRATIONS/DURING THE CONFERENCE (From 1st – 17th Sept. 2024) Includes EEASA Membership, all meals, conference materials, gala dinner and cultural night and networking events, airport pick up only up to first day of the conference. (USD 350)
DAILY ATTENDANCE Includes all meals for the day, conference materials and networking events. (USD 150)

About Lusaka
The Capital City of Zambia, Lusaka is no doubt an endowed part of the country sometimes perceived as a melting pot of Zambian culture and traditions. The Mulungushi International Conference Center provides conferencing facilities with exceptional speaking spaces, premier meeting spaces, exhibition spaces, custom catering service and on-site technical support to organizations during their meetings. The center is a perfect choice for hosting of the EEASA conference in 2024. The center is situated within proximity of 2–4-star hotels and high-class lodges as well as recreational facilities making it convenient for delegates movements.
During the Conference period, the weather is expected to range from 18oC to 35oC it will be mostly sunny with some clouds.

To avoid any inconveniences, please ensure that you carry with you, a valid International Certificate for Vaccination for Prophylaxis (Yellow Fever Card).t
You are reminded to carry a valid passport.
The official currency of Zambia is the Kwacha. The symbol for the Kwacha is K. The current midrate for the kwacha to dollar is approximately K26 to US$1. We do however encourage you to utilize currency converters such as www.xe.com to estimate. For those intending to carry cash, you are advised to carry money in Dollars as it is a freely interchangeable currency. VISA cards are also widely used to make payments in most shops.
Attire
You are encouraged to be in smart casual dressing during Conference days and appropriate outfits for the welcome gala dinner and the cultural night respectively.
Cultural Night (19th September)
In the usual style of the traditional dinner, delegates are expected to be dressed in Colourful traditional wear representing their cultures within the region. Those that wish to may also provide a traditional dance or song of their choice.Tab Content
Getting to the EEASA Conference Venue
Paid up participants will be picked from the airport provided travel itineraries are availed in good time. If driving or coming by road, Mulungushi International Conference Center is located on the Great East Road, within the same area as the accommodation facilities provided in the accommodation flier.
Exhibition Materials
Exhibition tables are available for those that are paid up and interested in exhibiting. Exhibition space is provided at no cost. One table with a space of 1.5m x 0.7m and two chairs will be provided for the exhibitions. You may also bring branded tents (but pre-booking is key as limited space is available)
