# Proposed Construction and Operation Of A Urea Making Plant At Farm No. F/siavo/zln_75/1 In HRH Chief Simamba’s Area, Siavonga District

**Project Background**
Blooming Chemical Industry Limited (“Blooming Chemical Industry”), a member of the Sunshare Group,
has acquired 250 hectares and plans to construct and operate a fertilizer-making plant in Siamakha
Village, Butete Area of Siavonga, focusing on the production of urea and by-product sulfur by using
coal as raw material. Out of the 250Ha, the plant area of the Project covers an area of 54.2 hectares.
Blooming Chemical Industry aims to produce 300,000 tonnes per annum of synthetic ammonia, 49,000
tonnes per annum of sulfur, and 520,000 tonnes per annum of urea.
