Review of the Environmental Impact Assessment for the Proposed Land Subdivision on farm no. A/4678, off Chifwema road in Kafue district by Mr. Newton Siame
Mr. Newton Siwale proposes to make available a total of 239 pieces of land on a 76.8Ha of land, for individuals and corporates who would have the opportunity to purchase respective stands. The sizes of the stands or pieces of land will range from 1,200m2 to 4,000m2 for housing units, a health facility and a Police Post. The last set of stands ranging from 6,000m2 to 15,000m2 are meant for institutions such as a school and recreation facilities. Other support infrastructure will include power lines and the main access gravel road off the Chifwema Road. There shall be a perimeter fence constructed to serve as a physical boundary of the project area as well as a barrier to keep animals away from the area. The Developer also proposes to construct or install a water reticulation system.
